Enthusiastically she quickly and carefully opened the box from her husband. Jennifer giggled as she pulled aside the inner packaging paper. She was giddy with anticipation. "What did you send, you big sweetie?"
All at once the warm, welcoming, cozy cottage became a cold, empty, forbidding sepulcher. Her mouth moved like a fish lying on a rock, gasping, making no sound. Her right hand stretched out, reaching for something, her left had fallen from her mouth to her bosom. Once she could breathe Jennifer's pained screams echoed from every wall as her husband's head rolled onto the cold stone floor.
