Descent, a poem

Fiery the angels fell
Forfeiting eternal souls

Answering the bells cold knell
About their shoulders thunder rolls

Descending each to their private hell
Paying each in blood their costly tolls

Ghastly, hollow howls with no hope to quell
On blood stained shores and obsidian shoals

Pain and agony they did foretell
Disbelieving eyes and still beating hearts in bowls
